WHO WE ARE

Humble Homes Resource Family Agency is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to placing children and youth in safe, loving homes. Founded in 2018 by Jose Jesus Gonzalez, a former foster parent of 15+ years, the agency was born from firsthand experience and a deep passion for supporting vulnerable youth.

With a background in mental health and education, Mr. Gonzalez built Humble Homes to provide compassionate care and lasting connections. Today, our dedicated team continues that mission—guiding families, empowering caregivers, and putting children first.

OUR MISSION

At Humble Homes, we provide safe, loving, and stable homes for children, youth, and non-minor dependents (NMDs) across our communities. We support caregivers with the guidance and resources needed to offer nurturing environments where children can heal and thrive.

WE CARE

Humble Homes Resource Family Agency looks to provide children across the San Bernardino and Riverside County areas with safe, loving and culturally sensitive certified homes/resource homes. Humble Homes Resource Family Agency organizes around a common purpose with Department of Children & Family Services sharing goals with neighboring counties to work on social problems and to respond to the needs of the communities.

UP TO THE CHALLENGE

Humble Homes Resource Family Agency is available to accept more challenging placements, such as temporary placements, placements of clients with severe behavioral and emotional problems, late night placements, and the placements of sibling sets, in an effort to maintain family connections. The certified homes/resource homes provided by the agency are carefully matched to children of various backgrounds to ensure that, above all else, the needs of the children are met. Humble Homes Resource Family Agency believes that in order to be successful, it must look to work as a team with all of the stakeholders in order to contribute to the overall success of the child.

Humble Homes Resource Family Agency is distinctive from other agencies due to the fact that the Agency is available for placements (and transportation for those placements) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
